SHDSL uses digital subscriber line technology, meaning cable quality and exchange distance influence the speed attainable. To address this, we complete a service qualification before every service is sold. This ensures that the service speed, based on your distance from the exchange and other factors (e.g. dB loss), is attainable. As a result the majority of our customers experience the full spectrum of the bandwidth they are sold.
